The role
A K Services has a vacancy for an experienced refrigeration and air conditioning service engineer to cover mainly the Yorkshire and Humber area, with HU and YO postcodes. Some jobs take you into DN and LN, but not on a daily basis.
If you have a background in refrigeration, ideally with some air conditioning experience too, and you’ve worked on commercial and industrial systems, we’d like to hear from you.
The job is the usual fault finding, servicing, installing and maintaining of all types of commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning, plus responding to reactive call-outs and carrying out repairs. A standby rota is in operation.

What you’ll need
- F-gas qualified
- City & Guilds, or equivalent, in air conditioning and/or refrigeration
- At least 1–2 years’ installation and service experience, in refrigeration and air conditioning
- A full UK driving licence
- Good customer service skills, and a good team player
- The ability to work to installation timescales on both refrigeration and air conditioning projects
- A high standard of on-site repairs and maintenance
An advantage
- Apprenticeship trained within the industry
- CSCS, PASMA or IPAF card
